Gregory S. Cope is a passionate Christ follower, devoted family man, author, and an operations leader in the Phoenix area. Greg was born in Joplin, MO, spent his childhood and early adult years in Scottsdale, AZ where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Vicki.
Greg holds an MBA in management & organizational behavior from California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks, a BS degree in business from Western International University, Phoenix, graduating cum laude, and an AAS degree in electronics technology from Maricopa Technical Community College, Phoenix. Greg has spent his 38-year career in the manufacturing/logistics industry.
In Greg’s free time, he enjoys visiting with his family, two daughters, sons-in-law, and four grandchildren every chance he gets. Greg loves fishing in the mountains of northern Arizona and dreams of landing the big one someday, working projects around the house, performing scheduled service on his cars, mastering the art of grilling on his Traeger and watching Dodger baseball.
Greg’s inspiration for writing both books was fueled by his passion and love for the Lord along with 20+ years of prayer, seeking God’s wisdom and blessing to share the stories God authored for his life as an encouragement and inspiration to others. That the reader will witness God’s goodness through every trial and hardship He allowed into Greg’s life. They will read the sometimes painful stories and see, that through it all, God had a plan and a purpose to build the momentum of Greg’s faith as He experienced God’s power in ways he never expected.
Greg’s life verse is Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God.” NIV
