The heart of a Momentum Leader is revealed in their communication and attitude toward others. Matthew 15:18, “But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them.”
Some leaders are so corrosive in their speech it’s embarrassing to even be around them. They view some people as ‘toxic’ and not worthy of their time or attention and communicate to them as such. The exact opposite of the example Jesus set for us.
Ephesians 4:29 sets the standard for a Momentum Leader, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”
