Psalm 71:17

Woke up this morning after a dream with someone telling me to read Psalm 71:17. Picking up my Bible this morning, I found the following, “17 “Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.” I then noticed the following vs, “18 Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.”

With the writing of book 2 in progress, I just can’t help but feel God is saying this is exactly what He has called me to do and that He is confirming His will for it as well, that being old and gray isn’t so bad, in fact a good thing. Not sure if I will add this to the introduction or conclusion, but will definitely add this story. This is a ‘Faith Powered Journey’ and this is how faith works, seeking God with prayer and reading His word and He speaks. I really can’t wait to share this book with you.

My goal from book 1 and continuing with this one as well, is if I can impact one life for Christ it is worth all the time and cost involved. This life we live here is so short compared to eternity and this Easter weekend we should all be considering the meaning behind what Christ did and why He did it. John 3:16 – 17.
